Flooring Edge, a retailer based in Kimball, Michigan, reopened this summer after being forced to shut down during the state’s stay-at-home order.
“I was lucky that I had a lot of commercial contracts,” said Candace Edgerton, owner and president of Flooring Edge. “We had a lot of residential people were in mid-stream. We had our installers finish up the jobs so that we didn’t leave people torn up, but we did not start new ones. So, when we opened back up, we had three months of jobs we had to reschedule.”
