Halstead International and Metroflor Corp. in Calhoun, Ga, received the prestigious Green Globes Certification for its Innovation & Design Center.

 

To celebrate, the company held a grand opening celebration for the facility--the third in Georgia and the first in Calhoun to have earned that distinction. Harlan Stone, president and CEO, Halstead International, was joined by Russ Rogg, president and CEO, Metroflor Corp. at the ribbon cutting ceremony July 28. Joining company staff were representatives from the company’s independent distributor network.

 

Green Globes is a highly respected organization that is pioneering best practice in sustainable design, construction and operations, said the company.
