A range of residential flooring solutions from Tarkett were featured as part of National Geographic Channel’s new show "Cabin Fever."

The episode, which premiered on March 3, centered on construction of a log cabin in Minnesota. Tarkett’s FiberFloor, laminate and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) were utilized throughout the space.

The episode, titled “Lakeside Log Cabin,” highlighted the construction of a log cabin ideal for enjoying the outdoors and raising a family for the McGowan family in Lake Vermillion, Minn.

“To see our products featured in a project like this on the national stage works to affirm our place in the industry,” said Cynthia Mansfield, communications manager–marketing at Tarkett. “The iSelect system makes it easy for homeowners to coordinate flooring products with other design elements of the home’s interior. And the floors themselves, all coming from the same color family, flow seamlessly from room to room. With FiberFloor, laminate and LVT, you get durable, beautiful and safe flooring options.”

For their lakeside retreat, the McGowans, who also had Tarkett flooring in their previous home, selected flooring from the iSelect Fireside Chats’ color collection. The rich red and orange undertones of the collection complement the home’s natural, relaxed feel.
