Interior Design Camp will host its inaugural Atlanta conference Jan. 10 and 11 at AmericasMart in conjunction with The Atlanta International Area Rug Market featuring the National Oriental Rug Show and The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. Led by interior designers Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis, the national design summit will provide designers the opportunity to learn and network with professionals in the interior design business.
The two-day camp, held in the Penthouse Theater at AmericasMart, will include a showroom tour day at the market, a networking cocktail party and presentations from Dennis and Ellis as well as Adam Japko, president of Network Communications Digital Sherpa social media management business; hotel and restaurant designer Peter Zakas; and interior designer Suzanne Kasler.
Internationally known for their appearances on HGTV, Bravo, NBC, Oxygen, TLC and Food Network, and articles in countless publications, Dennis and Ellis have spent decades educating designers and design enthusiasts.
"AmericasMart organizes one of the leading markets for the home in the nation, and the partnership has been a perfect synergy with our Design Camp initiatives," said Dennis.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to showcase our extensive collection of home products to a new group of design professionals,” said Mark Furlet, senior vice president of leasing for AmericasMart’s home, rug and holiday/ floral collections. “We’re confident our exhibitors will make a lasting impression with their strong array of incredible lines.”
Interior Design Camp offers designers CEU credits for each hour of attendance and the opportunity to shop the market.
"Interior Design Camp not only teaches designers how to get to the top in their field but covers their bases in keeping up with their accreditation. Plus, it's a fantastic networking community," added Ellis.
