Skil’s new 7-inch Wet Tile Saw makes completing tile projects easier year round with its unique HydroLock System that effectively cuts tile with little mess, according to the company.
The 7-inch Wet Tile Saw’s innovative HydroLock System keeps water splash to a minimum so tiles can be cut in the room where they’re being installed. The #3550 also comes equipped with a durable rust-resistant aluminum table top and a sliding side extension that can be used on either the right or left side to support tiles up to 18x18 inches.
“The 7-inch Wet Tile Saw is unique, stable and perfect for the intermediate to advanced home improvement enthusiast,” said Nancy Struijk, group product manager. “We’re excited to showcase the tool’s new HydroLock System, which features an innovative upper and lower guard design that keeps water contained near the blade.”
The #3550 works with a 7-inch continuous rim diamond blade which provides efficient and even cutting. The adjustable aluminum rip fence and miter gauge allow for accurate straight and miter cuts, and its built-in cord wrap makes for easy storage and transportation.
The new 7-inch Wet Tile Saw comes with a 7-inch continuous rim diamond tile saw blade, one rip/miter fence, and one blade wrench. Available in March 2014, the 7-inch Wet Tile Saw can be found at Lowes stores nationwide with a suggested retail price of $149.00 (USD).
