ARDEX Americas announces a digital toolkit that provides online access and capability.
On April 9, ARDEX Americas published a new website, www.ardexamericas.com. Enhancements to the site include user-friendly navigation and content integration which improves online search capability. Users can search the case studies section or the media center, for instance, by product, market segment or product segment. ARDEX Americas publishes web content in English and Spanish, with French content in the planning and development stage.
The new website reveals a series of one-minute Prodcasts. The copyright-protected informational videos provide an overview of individual ARDEX products. Prodcasts complement the growing library of ARDEX product installation videos and also are published in English and Spanish.
The release of Prodcasts follows an online video challenge that enabled loyal ARDEX FEATHER FINISH fans to proclaim why they prefer the world’s best underlayment patch. The FEATHER FINISH videos, and other elements of the product’s 20th anniversary celebration, are published on a dedicated product website at www.ardexfeatherfinish.com.
Another tool in the ARDEX Americas online arsenal is its newest version of the Android App featuring a product quantity calculator with units of measure in both U.S. and metric equivalents. The App provides an individual product detail page for more than 60 products, access to MSDS sheets and technical data, direct links to the new ARDEX website and a “Find a Sales Pro feature.” The Android App complements the iPhone App which is five-star rated and has thousands of downloads.
This series of digital enhancements complements an already active social media network that provides direct connectivity with the people who are ARDEX. Tweet @ardexamericas and follow breaking news on the ARDEX Americas blog, http://pulse.ardexamericas.com.
“Information about ARDEX and its products is more accessible than ever thanks to digital media,” says Jesse David, ARDEX President U.S. and Canadian Division. “An installer at the distributor a can use the product calculator on a mobile phone to determine how much product to buy. A contractor can reference the technical data or MSDS from a mobile device on the jobsite. A distributor can access a Prodcast to help a customer understand a product’s capabilities,” David explains.
Mike Crouch, ARDEX President Latin America Division and Americas Innovation explains, “At ARDEX, we’ve created a comprehensive system of digital tools that empower the distributor, the specifier, the architect, the installer, all of our partners, with unmatched access to information and tools to get the job done.”
