Two new additions to the CBC Flooring team represent a significant step toward solidifying the company’s position as a leading sustainable flooring provider for the commercial market.

John Kozak was named technical services manager and brings more than 25 years of experience with market segment brand leaders, most recently Tarkett. The second hire is Ashley Hogan as marketing program coordinator, a new position in the company’s marketing department.

“These appointments are critical to help us support our distributors and agents on the technical side and allow us to effectively market all of our flooring brands to the architectural and design communities,” said Jeff Collum, vice president of the flooring division for CBC.

Kozak’s primary responsibility will be to work with CBC’s suppliers from around the world in the development of products that conform to CBC Flooring’s commitment to sustainability. In addition, he will author technical documents, oversee quality control, manage claims and represent CBC Flooring on all industry technical committees and associations.

Hogan, a recent graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in public relations, has already spent several months in the field with agent architect and design representatives, learning how this new generation of specifiers selects flooring for its projects.

“We are excited to have these new staff members on board. Each brings valuable experience and perspective to help round out our team,” said Chip Braulick, director of marketing.
