The owners of a Fresno flooring company, Abbey Design and Flooring Center, have filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. This after dozens of people claim they were ripped off by the business. Abbey Design closed two weeks ago without a word about why.
According to these court documents obtained by Action News Gary and Glennyce Cropper, the owners of Abbey Design, filed for bankruptcy on November 7th.
The paperwork shows they owe money to more than 200 people and businesses. The doors of Abbey Design and Flooring Center closed nearly two weeks ago, but the bankruptcy court papers show the problems began years earlier. See the full story at abclocal.go.com.
