Claes Wennerth, former president of Alloc Inc., has been named a representative for Valinge in North America. Based out of Chicago, Wennerth will be responsible for providing market analysis and direct support to licensees of Valinge's patented locking installation technologies for flooring.

"It is important [to establish] a local presence in the North American market, especially now when we are in the introduction phase of the new Wood Fiber Floor product," said Darko Pervan, CEO of Välinge. "As former president of Alloc, Claes has a deep knowledge of the flooring market as well as the technical aspects of the product and its production."

Valinge added that bringing Wennerth on board as a representative for North America is the first step to expanding its presence in the area. "This marks a starting point for a Valinge support center and showroom in the U.S.A.," Valinge said.
