Excitement from Surfaces and StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2012 has carried over for the 2013 edition with more than 35% of exhibit space already secured.

DALLAS, TX -- With the 2012 show still going strong, the excitement of the show carried over into the onsite 2013 sales office where exhibitors were already securing their 2013 exhibit space, say the organizers of Surfaces and StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas.

“We secured more than 130 contracts for space for next year’s show while in the midst of this year’s show,” said Amie Gilmore, show manager, Surfaces and StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas. “We couldn’t get contracts in the queue fast enough before the next exhibitor would walk in wanting to book their space. We opened up on Monday afternoon and it was a revolving door non-stop even after the show floor closed on Thursday. 2013 is going to be a great event!”

These 130+ contracts, accounting for more than 35% of the total square feet sold for 2013, include contracts from Alloc, Alpha Professional Tools, Bedrosians, Best Buy Flooring Source, Best Cheer Stone, Braxton-Bragg, Couristan, Earthwerks, Hallmark Hardwoods, MAPEI, MS International, Pravada Floors, Regent Stone, Schluter Systems, and United Weavers. In addition, four brand new companies reserved space while simply walking the show floor as an attendee.

“As we were walking the show floor on the first day we knew that we had to be a part of this fantastic show,” said Dave Johns, Bambootrim.com. “Being here is vital for reaching all of our customers, plus new ones. You’ll become obsolete if you’re not here.” Mannington and Beaulieu have both committed to reserve space and will be noted on the floor plan that will appear on both the Surfaces and StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas websites in the next few days.
