This month, IVC US will celebrate its one-year anniversary of domestic production by adding a third shift to its manufacturing line. The addition of a third shift will enable IVC US to extend production from three days to five days a week. It will also create more than 30 jobs in the Dalton, Ga. community.
“We are starting 2012 in the most exciting way possible – with growth,” said Xavier Steyaert, ceo of IVC US. “This announcement is the first of many exciting things to come from IVC US this year.”
In addition to hiring a third shift, IVC is also starting the year with a newly revamped web site, which includes product information, company news and details about IVC’s green initiatives. In coordination with the new web site, IVC US also launched a Facebook page.
“Last year we opened our new plant and US headquarters, hired more than 100 new employees [and] Paul Murfin as our new president, and launched Flexitec V and Itec Contract Floors,” said Steyaert.
