The petitioners in the trade investigation of multilayered wood flooring from China have requested that the U.S. Department of Commerce remove UA Wood Floors from the coverage of these proceedings. UA Wood Floors Inc. is a producer/exporter of multilayered wood flooring in Taiwan. The company’s U.S. arm, UA Floors, is based in Lancaster, Pa.

UA Wood Floors has filed a formal certification with the Department of Commerce, which affirms that its sole manufacturing facility is located in Taiwan, and the company neither manufactures multilayered wood flooring in China nor exports multilayered wood flooring manufactured in China.

As is the case in all antidumping/countervailing duty investigations, any effect of the proceedings applies only to products from the country named in the petition.
