The Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association this year celebrates the 25th anniversary of its acclaimed hardwood flooring installation school with the 50th offering of the five-day course March 27-31 in Memphis. The 50th school is sponsored jointly by NOFMA, the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association and the National Wood Flooring Association. It will be held at the Agricenter International in Memphis, site of the past several NOFMA schools.

The course curriculum covers all aspects of proper wood flooring installation, including sections on Installation of Solid Wood Products; Installation of 5/16-inch Parquet Products; Installation of Engineered Flooring; Fillers-Repairs-Special Tools; Sanding & Finishing, Specialty Products & Examination; Estimating Mechanic Production Time and Specialties; and Trouble Shooting & Handling Complaints. Classes will begin promptly at 8:30 on Saturday morning, March 27. Those who attend and participate in all scheduled sessions will receive a certificate of completion and a wallet card, and their names will be posted on the NOFMA web site. The course is also a pre-requisite for the NOFMA Certified Wood Flooring Inspector program.

Cost of the 50th NOFMA wood flooring installation school is $450 payable to NOFMA (add 3 percent transaction fee if paying with a credit card). Hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the individual student, but NOFMA has arranged special rates at a nearby Holiday Inn Select. Contact NOFMA for details.
