The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) renewed its partnership with Gerflor USA and its family of brands, securing the continued provision of premier playing surfaces for multiple collegiate championships.

The extended agreement maintains Connor Sports as the Official Court provider for NCAA Division I Men's and Women's basketball championships, including the Final Four tournaments, a role it has held since 2006. The partnership also encompasses Sport Court's 30-plus-year commitment to Division II and III volleyball championships and Taraflex's more recent role in Division I volleyball competitions.

"We are honored to extend our partnerships with the NCAA," said Benjamin Bachman, CEO of Gerflor USA. "This extension speaks to our shared vision of excellence with the NCAA."

The collaboration ensures specialized support across various championship events. Connor Sports will continue coordinating onsite support for NCAA-owned floors at the Men's First Four and early tournament rounds. Sport Court remains the surface provider for Division II and III volleyball championships, while Taraflex, which joined the partnership in 2021, will continue supplying courts for Division I volleyball championships.

David Clendenin, director of NCAA Licensing, emphasized the importance of athlete safety in the partnership: "The NCAA is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its student-athletes who compete at the highest level of collegiate sports, and we are delighted that Gerflor will continue to share that commitment."

The renewal underscores both organizations' dedication to maintaining high standards in athletic competition while prioritizing player safety and performance. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
