Nemo Tile + Stone, a century-old surface materials provider based in New York City, has signed a lease for a new 30,000-square-foot slab gallery in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Set to open in winter 2024/2025, the Nemo Slab Collection Gallery will showcase premium porcelain and natural stone materials.

The gallery aims to streamline material sourcing for architects, designers, fabricators, and contractors in the region. It addresses industry challenges, including long delivery times and limited material choices, by bringing an organized, accessible collection of international porcelain and stone to the New York metropolitan area. The facility, located near Manhattan, will feature an extensive selection of slabs ranging from 129 x 64 to 120 x 50-60 inches, available in 12mm and 6mm thicknesses.

"We have seamlessly integrated the rich heritage of Nemo Tile + Stone with artisanal craftsmanship to create a meticulously curated collection of porcelain slabs," said Nemo Tile + Stone CEO Matt Karlin.

The new space will also offer hands-on durability workshops and educational programs focused on slab installation and fabrication techniques.
