It is with deep sadness that Nourison Home announced the passing of Owen Baker, a highly respected and valued member of the company and the flooring industry. Baker was a 52-year veteran of the industry, dedicating much of his life to the advancement and success of the flooring sector.
Owen Baker retired from Nourison Home five years ago after a distinguished career that spanned decades, including Oriental Weavers, Coronet Carpets, Monticello Carpets, Lee’s Carpet and Burlington Industries. Throughout his tenure, he was known for his work ethic, expertise, and sense of humor. He built lasting relationships with both co-workers and customers. His contributions to the company were immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of working with him.

During his 16 years at Nourison Home, Baker was pivotal as Western regional sales manager and helped shape the company’s growth and success. His expertise, leadership, and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he worked with.
