Buddy Allen Carpet One Floor & Home hosted the seventh annual Buddy Allen Carpet One (BACO) Golf Classic May 10-11, 2023, to raise funds for Building for America's Bravest and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Each year, Buddy Allen Carpet One Floor & Home hosts a golf tournament to benefit Tunnels to Towers, a non-profit program that builds mortgage-free smart homes for injured veterans and first responders. This year, there were 241 participants with a full golf course with sponsors on every hole. They kicked it off the night before with a live and silent auction.

"We love raising money for Tunnel to Towers because we strongly believe in what this foundation does. We are honored that every year, we have representatives from the foundation come down and even have had Frank Siller join us to play," said Jenna Allen, business development manager, Buddy Allen Carpet One Floor & Home in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Each home is designed to address the unique needs of each individual, so our heroes can live independently with dignity. Tunnel to Towers was originally founded to honor the sacrifices of Stephen Siller, who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001.

This year's BACO Golf Classic took place at Pine Creek Golf Course in Mt Juliet, Tennessee.

"This year we were able to send another check for $53,000," Allen said. "That puts us over $260,000 that we have submitted to the foundation to help our veterans, Goldstar families and first responders."
