Southwind Building Products, based in Dalton, Georgia, announce the hiring of Drew Hash as president.  

“The industry knowledge and proven track record Drew brings to our team will help give us a giant leap forward in our growth plans for Southwind," said Jason Delves, CEO of Southwind.

Hash comes to Southwind Building Products from his role as vice president of hard surface at Shaw Industries where he played a pivotal role in their hard surface program. He held senior roles at Zickgraf Hardwood and Armstrong prior to Shaw Industries.

Southwind Building Products was founded under the name Cherokee Carpet Industries in 1994 in Dalton, Georgia. Southwind Carpets acquired Cherokee Carpet in 1997 and expanded sales direct to retail flooring stores. Today, the Southwind Carpets division provides everything from residential to Main Street commercial carpets exclusively to its extensive U.S. network. The Southwind Hard Surface division launched in 2015 to offer Southwind’s dealers a full line of LVP, WPC, and SPC.

In May 2021, F9 Brands Inc. acquired Southwind and renamed it Southwind Building Products. F9 Brands based in Franklin, Tennessee, and privately owned, owns and manages companies within the building products, home improvement, home décor markets.
