Stanton Carpet Corporation, based in Woodbury, New York, has acquired Floors 2000, a supplier of luxury vinyl plank (LVP), porcelain, mosaic and recycled glass tile, based in Pensacola, Florida.
Floors 2000 offers complementary LVP product line to Stanton’s Decorative Waterproof Flooring (DWF) and allows Stanton to enter the tile market while strategically aligning with both companies’ ambitious hard surface growth plans, according to Stanton CEO Jonathan Cohen. President of Floors 2000 Jason Jones and the existing internal and external sales team will continue to lead and operate Floors 2000 while maintaining operations and distribution from their current facility in Florida.
“Floors 2000 offers a comprehensive and complementary hard surface product line that rounds out the company’s overall assortment," Cohen said. " We are thrilled to welcome Jason and his team to the Stanton family, their expertise and passion will enhance both businesses and further accelerate our growth.”
“Becoming an integral part of Stanton will accelerate continued growth for Floors 2000 as we integrate our systems and capitalize on the existing Stanton infrastructure, B2B platform, current and new technology as well as tapping into Stanton’s national network of loyal retailers," Jones added.
Floors 2000 will be marketed and positioned as a brand within the Stanton portfolio that offers stylish product categories at a more value price point, rounding out the entire assortment for LVP. Stanton and Floors 2000 will collaborate on product development and strategic growth objectives with the goal of expanding Floors 2000 presence across the United States while enhancing the product assortment across LVP and tile, the company said.
The existing Floors 2000 staff will remain on board and integrate into the overall architecture of Stanton for long term growth. In addition, Floors 2000 brings an exemplary team of independent hard surface sales agents that are experienced in the categories and will continue to represent the brand.
