Designers selected Mohawk UltraWood for two homes on CBS reality series Secret Celebrity Renovation. Episodes showcase big names in sports, music and entertainment gifting surprise renovations to a loved one who helped guide them to success.
The show’s premier featured Wayne Brady, popular actor and talk show host of The Wayne Brady Show. Brady worked with host Nischelle Turner of Entertainment Tonight, contractor Jason Cameron of Man Cave and interior designer Sabrina Soto of Trading Spaces on his aunt’s home in Orlando, Florida. His aunt, alongside his grandmother, helped raise him. The second surprise makeover featuring UltraWood was for Eve, a Grammy Award-winning artist and talk show host, giving back to her mother in Philadelphia.
“After working with the show’s design team and learning about the different spaces, the use of UltraWood’s Crosby Cove collection was the perfect choice for these deserving homeowners,” said Seth Arnold, Mohawk’s vice president of marketing, wood and laminate. “Launched this year, UltraWood will provide them with the high-performance they need along with genuine hardwood looks they can’t get anywhere else. We are excited to see the reveals and follow along to see what the stars participating in action during the renovation process.”
