Swedish flooring manufacturer and distributor Kährs names Johan Lundgren chief commercial offer for the Nordics.
Lundgren joins the company September 1 from Akzo Nobel, a Dutch paint and coatings manufacturer, where he held the position of commercial director in the Nordics. He previously held senior sales and marketing roles from Dell and Mintel.
While Kährs says residential flooring is its core segment, it also holds a strong position in the commercial segment focused towards flooring for the healthcare, education and corporate buildings. To reflect the company's business model, Kährs has organized its workforce into distinct markets: Residential, Nordics, West & South Europe, North America and Emerging markets, including Russia.
Lundgren will be member of Kährs Group’s management along with Andreas Berge, who is responsible for Kährs' project sales and has been appointed CCO commercial. Sean Brennan, who is responsible for Kährs’ retail sales in the United States, has been appointed CCO residential North America; Robert Bieger, who is responsible for Kährs' retail business in the DACH region, has been appointed CCO residential West & South Europe; and Alexei Pechorin will continue to drive sales in emerging markets and Russia as CCO for residential emerging markets.
Fredrik Alfredsson, CCO Retail, has decided to leave for a new position outside Kährs after more than 25 years of successful service in various positions, the company said.
