INVISTA congratulates the winners of the 22nd annual Starnet Design Awards that utilized carpets of Antron nylon in their installations.

Placentia Linda Hospital by Universal Metro - Silver Winner for Unique Installation Challenge
Universal Metro was awarded a silver award for the remodel of the Placentia Linda Hospital for its design to attract new patients and visitors to the newly opened Cath Lab Suite. Carpet by Mannington Commercial was used in the main lobby as a wayfinding tool for patients between the entry way and the new area of the hospital.

Vanessa Behan by Great Floors - Bronze Winner for Mixed-Use Developments
Great Floors and NAC Architecture received a bronze award for the Vanessa Behan crisis nursery for its use of a stylish Mannington carpet style made with Antron nylon type 6,6 fiber system. Flooring in the space helps create a fun, safe and lighthearted atmosphere for this childcare and educational facility that is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect.

Advent Health Medical Office Building by Regents Flooring - Bronze Winner for Healthcare
Advent Health Medical and Hoefer Wysocki Architects received a bronze award for the design of a three-story facility on its Advent Health campus. The facility installed a carpet style by Mannington Commercial Carpet made with Antron nylon type 6,6 high-performance fiber.

Belmont Elementary School by Great Floors - Bronze Winner for Unique Installation Challenge
Great Floors, LLC and Design West Architects earned a bronze award for its challenging, yet beautiful installation including Mannington Carpet made with Antron nylon fiber at Belmont Elementary School. Located in a rapidly growing city, the vision for Belmont Elementary was to design the school for the future, ensuring that it could grow with the district’s need.

University of South Carolina Instructional Chemistry Lab by Bonitz Flooring Group - Bronze Winner for Education
Bonitz Flooring Group and Watson State Savoy won a 2020 Starnet Bronze Award for the renovation of University of South Carolina’s Instructional Chemistry Lab Building. The Mannington Commercial patterns Mountain Fold and Merge were used in classrooms, offices, and conference rooms. Robin Zimmerman, Senior Interior Designer, at University of South Carolina stated, “By specifying Mannington we were able to implement beauty on a budget, with the emphasis on durability.”
