Carl LaCount, an experienced laborer with strong customer service skills, has joined H.J. Martin and Son as a floorcare technician. The company’s expanding floorcare division serves both residential and commercial customers.

Among his duties is on-site maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types, including carpet, laminate, vinyl composition tile (VCT), luxury vinyl tile (LVT), luxury vinyl plank (LVP), hardwood, upholstery, ceramic tile, natural stone and marble, using manufacturer-approved methods. LaCount additionally will provide positive customer service in client homes and places of business.

For carpet and upholstery, his procedures consist of shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming. On hard-surface flooring, this work includes stripping and refinishing, burnishing, buffing, spray cleaning and sealing.

LaCount previously spent six-and-a-half years as a moving specialist with Schroeder Moving Systems, a Wisconsin-based local and long-distance mover, working out of its Appleton location. His daily responsibilities included driving a Straight Truck, loading household items and delivering those personal effects safely to the new residences of clients with strong customer service skills.

LaCount is graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay.
