Concord, N.C. -- Bonitz announced the addition of Doug Dozier as its new CFO, effective as of March 25. Dozier joins Bonitz from XPO Logistics, where he served as North American Controller. Dozier brings with him a diverse leadership background in both public and privately held organizations, including experience in finance, treasury, audit, investor relations, and strategic planning.

"When you replace a legacy CFO that has been so instrumental to our success over the years, you need to get it right,” said Pete Larmore, president and CEO of Bonitz. “I am confident Doug has the competence and character to lead the finance side of our business. He brings the connection and skills to help us scale the business while using accounting to help bring clarity around the Bonitz journey as we head into the future."

Dozier will lead the accounting and financial operations of Bonitz, as well as have oversight of corporate treasury. Based in Charlotte, N.C., Dozier will report directly to Larmore while providing strategic direction as part of the Senior Leadership Team. He will succeed Steve Lee who served as CFO for 30 years. Lee remains on the Bonitz Board of Directors.

"Bonitz is a company with great pride and history, and has distinguished itself as a leader in their industry," said Dozier. "There is tremendous opportunity for growth in the years ahead and I look forward to being part of the team and a contributing member to help facilitate that growth."
