Lancaster, Pa. -- AHF Products announced that Jeff Steed will become CFO, effective immediately. Steed will have oversight of global finance and accounting functions as well as information technology and will report to Brian Carson, President and CEO.
Steed has over 30 years of experience in the forest products industry and has held financial leadership roles with companies such as International Paper and Weyerhaeuser. Most recently, Steed was with Northwest Hardwoods, a former AIP acquisition from Weyerhaeuser where he served as CFO and vice president of finance and planning. He led the creation of a successful finance organization as Northwest Hardwoods was established as a stand-alone company.
"Jeff brings a wealth of experience in finance and general management leadership roles, and his focus on strategic thinking and driving results will be an asset for AHF Products," said Carson. Steed holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Financial Management and Computer Science from Oregon State University. He currently lives in Chelan, Wash., and he and his wife will be relocating to the Lancaster, Pa., area.
