Dalton, Ga. -- Visitors of The International Surface Event (TISE) in Las Vegas and Domotex USA in Atlanta will have the opportunity to tour Engineered Floors’ production facility thanks to virtual reality (VR).
“We get requests all the time to see our SAM plant that’s over 2.5 million sq. ft. in Dalton, Ga., so we decided to bring the plant to our booth 1709 at TISE and booth 711 at Domotex USA,” said Mike Sanderson, vice president of marketing.
Visitors to the show booths will be able to wear a VR headset and see what it’s like to be standing where Dream Weaver carpet is made.
“We believe when people see how we make our product, they’ll have an even better appreciation for its quality,” Sanderson said.
This year, Engineered Floors introduced its EF-EYE Visualizer to support the roll-out of its hard surface collections. In January, the flooring company will unveil its online visualizer capability for its popular Dream Weaver and Pentz Commercial Solutions carpet collections.
“Online visualizers make it easier for anyone to see how their flooring choice will work in their room and situation,” Sanderson said. “We believe we’ve provided our customers and dealers the best technological tool to do just that—and we’re excited to expand it to include our carpet lines.”
