Lyndhurst, N.J. -- Sika has opened three new distribution facilities across the U.S. to reduce product delivery times and lower freight costs.
"Localizing our product distribution provides additional value for our customers with shorter delivery windows and increased product availability with lower freight costs that improves their order fulfillment experience,” said Stew Snoddy, senior vice president of flooring.
In its coast-to-coast coverage plan, Sika now distributes from four locations: Marion, Ohio; Monroe, N.J.; Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; and Sealy, Texas. Additionally, the Sika roofing warehouse in Kansas City, Mo., holds product to support that local market. The Marion, Sealy and Santa Fe locations are equipped with state-of-the-art color engineering software, dispensers and mixers to produce Sikafloor 264 epoxy coating in a full palette of standard and custom colors.
