A decrease in disposable income combined with higher interest expenses for housing consumers are having a negative impact on consumers’ willingness to purchase interiors products, said Kährs President and CEO Johan Magnusson.

The awards were developed to encourage and recognize innovative craftsmanship and design in wood flooring installations. 

Bona US, a global, sustainably-driven company that supplies products for installing, renovating, maintaining and restoring premium floors, announced the launch of Bona ClearSeal, a new waterborne, fast-drying floor sealer created to highlight the natural color of wood.

In this role, Johnson will lead hard surface product innovation, marketing, and strategic direction.

The FSC-US Leadership Awards, organized by the Forest Stewardship Council, acknowledges outstanding contributions to responsible forest management and conservation.

The collection is named after the nearly 6,000-acre Bellême forest located in Le Perche Regional Nature Park in southern Normandy, France. The forest is famous for its majestic oak and beech trees.

These events are held at various NWFA regional training centers across the United States and Canada.
