On January 8, 2024, nine high school students will begin their flooring installation career journey through the dual-enrollment partnership between The Dalton Academy (TDA), a Whitfield County area high school, and Georgia Northwestern Community College (GNTC).

One Source Commercial Flooring, based in Plano, Texas, hosted a Powerbond certification class from Tarkett Contract to train approximately 60 crew members, reports Fuse Commercial Flooring Alliance. 

Women in the Floorcovering Industry announced the deadline extension of its scholarship program, Fund Your Professional Development, Training, & Education 2024. The new deadline is December 15, 2023.  

Georgia Northwestern Technical College and The Dalton Academy, a high school in Dalton Georgia, have established a dual-enrollment program partnership where students can complete the 12-credit hour Flooring Installation Technician course while still in high school. This is an industry first.  

The Bona US Training Team offers a 3-day, professional sand and finish school. This school is for professional contractors and not for DIY/homeowners.
