The International Certified Floorcovering Installers Association (CFI) will host hardwood and laminate training and certification in Dallas, June 1 and 2.

This classroom, hands-on training of pre-finished hardwoods and laminate products will include instruction on:

• factory finishes, nail-down, glue-down, gloating installations, staple/cleats 

• job site evaluation (estimating, preparation, balancing floors, transitions) 

• grades (on, above, below), sub-floors 

• effects of moisture, moisture testing procedures, acclimation
