The Carpet American Recovery Effort (CARE) has produced and sent a window cling and a sample of a new brochure, "Carpet Recycling in California," to 3,500 California retailers.

The brochure informs customers about carpet recycling and about the stewardship assessment of $.10 per square-yard that all consumers must pay when purchasing carpet in the state.
