Cersaie, taking place Sept. 28 through Oct. 2 in Bologna, Italy, will showcase ceramic tile and bathroom furnishing companies along with producers of other floor and wall covering materials, including marble, natural stone and wood.

According to show organizers, this year's educational and cultural programs will provide a packed calendar of meetings and conferences, and will host speakers from the worlds of architecture and design.

One new feature this year will be the Cer-Stile collective exhibition. Created by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli, Cer-Stile will explore Italy’s key areas of excellence. It will be a three-stage journey extending over an area of 16,145 square-feet, where the visionary concept will be combined with concrete aspects of renovation—the common thread running through the various settings. At the center, a disused railway station will become the conceptual hub of the exhibition and will serve as a venue for events and a meeting place where participating companies can create profitable business opportunities.

The world of design is playing an increasingly important role in the Bologna show through the initiative titled Cersaie Designs Your Home. Back again this year for its fourth edition, the initiative gives visitors contemplating a home purchase or renovation project the chance for a free consultation with an architect at the show.
