Ecore International donated 2,200-square feet of flooring to the Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pa., for the U.S. Women’s Open.

Ecore supplied Pinnacle, a surface that features a carpet surface fusion bonded to a recycled rubber backing, which was installed in two trailers on the grounds of the club that will be used by event officials.

“Pinnacle is a proprietary blend of fibers composed of recycled plastic bottles, designed for commercial, industrial and retail applications,” said Arthur Dodge III, president and CEO of Ecore. “These properties made Pinnacle the perfect flooring solution for the U.S. Women’s Open’s officials headquarters, since they will be running in and out of the trailers frequently and it will be able to stand up to the abuse."

Ecore recently launched, Pinnacle 2, which includes a new and improved soft surface that is able to withstand the same abuse, according to Dodge. The interlocking tile format offers a simple, adhesive-free installation.
