The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) and North American Building Material Distribution Association (NBMDA) are alerting industry personnel about a company not affiliated with the organizations that is disguising itself as representing NAFCD and NBMDA to assist with hotel reservations.
"If you receive an email or phone call from anyone claiming to represent NAFCD, NBMDA or the Hilton Orlando, please be aware that this is likely a scam," said a spokesperson for the associations.
Once registration is open for the 2015 NAFCD + NBMDA Annual Convention, Nov. 3 to 5 in Orlando, Fla., information on how to safely and securely book hotel rooms at the Hilton Orlando with exclusive attendee discounts will be announced by the two associations.
