Armstrong has expanded its Alterna engineered stone flooring collection with the addition of five new designs.

According to the company, Alterna's designs are meant to be mixed-and-matched to create different color combinations and patterns for a unique look. The newest designs range from concrete looks and cool gray tones, to wood-inspired planks and rustic metals.

“The multiple sizes and shapes available in many Alterna collections allow you to express your personal style with a unique pattern installation," said Yon Hinkle, Armstrong's general manager of product management and residential design.

Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms and other high-moisture areas, Alterna provides both aesthetics and durability, according to Hinkle.
