In less than two weeks, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) will kick off its International Builders' Show (IBS) in Las Vegas with an even larger exhibit floor than last year. The 2015 show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Jan. 20 to 22, and is one of five events that will make up the second annual Design & Construction Week (DCW), that was founded in 2014 by NAHB and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) with their initial co-location of IBS with the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS).

The inaugural DCW also featured the co-location of the International Window Coverings Expo and they return again this year along with two new additions, The International Surface Event (TISE) and the Las Vegas Market. While all of the shows will remain separate and distinct, registrants will have access to the exhibits of all five shows held during DCW.

This year's IBS exhibit floor will feature nearly 1,200 exhibitors, accounting for 476,000 net square feet of exhibit space, almost 50,000 more square feet than last year. Exhibitors represent the industry's top manufacturers and suppliers showcasing the latest and most innovative products.

"The International Builders' Show boasts an expansive exhibit hall featuring manufacturers representing every facet of the housing industry, all in one spot," said Kevin Kelly, NAHB chairman and a home builder and developer from Wilmington, Del. "Housing professionals can really take their business to the next level by taking advantage of the access to all of the top industry professionals, networking opportunities and business deals available to them at Design & Construction Week in general and IBS in particular."

Among the other highlights of IBS are more than 100 education sessions offered on a variety of topics that cover every aspect of the industry, numerous networking opportunities, awards competitions, home tours, interesting speakers and industry experts and other special events. Jon Gruden, former National Football League head coach and current ESPN analyst, will headline the Opening Ceremonies and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band ZZ Top will close out the show at the IBS Spike Concert.

The NAHB International Builders' Show is not open to the general public. Building industry professionals and their affiliates are invited to register by visiting the show's website at BuildersShow.com. Online registration is available through the last day of the show, however fees do increase after Jan. 18.
