Zaisenhausen, Germany- based company, Dieffenbacher Maschinenfabrik has designed a flexible line based on Välinge Innovation's Powder Technology.
According to the company, all products will be balanced with Välinge’s Powder Backing technology consisting of a powder layer made of recycled wood dust from the sawing line and a melamine binder. The Short-Cycle press can handle Embossing In Register (EIR) and has a pressure of 60 bars. The line is also suited to run traditional Direct Pressure Laminate (DPL) products in combination with Powder Backing.
”Dieffenbacher has now several years of experience with Välinge’s Powder Technology and we assess that this technology opens up completly new possibilities," said Detlef Kroll, technical director of Dieffenbacher Zaisenhausen. "As an example, Wood Powder Veneer is a unique way of producing high-quality wood floorings in an extremely flexible and cost-efficent way in a Short-Cycle press. The line has been designed in modules in order to make it easily adjustable to our customers’ requests. We are convinced that our equipment is handling the Powder Technology in the best possible way."
The concept will be presented for the first time to potential partners at the ForMóbile show in São Paulo, Brazil (July 29 to Aug. 1 ) on Dieffenbacher’s stand (B24).
”Dieffenbacher has shown to be a very competent partner when we now scale up the Powder Technology. The Powder Backing line we have installed in our facility in Viken runs stable and we are confident that Dieffenbacher can take this concept to the next level”, said Niclas Håkansson, CEO Välinge Innovation.
