Interior designer and television personality, Evette Rios was able to restore her parents’ Manhattan apartment after it had been severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy with the help of Dal-Tile and other brands.
The first-floor apartment was completely flooded and most possessions were destroyed. Rios used her skills as an interior designer, along with the help of industry friends and generous brand donations, to restore her childhood home.
The entire space was renovated from top to bottom, with the bathroom in need of the most repair. Dal-Tile stepped in to provide wall tile and accents, creating a bright, spacious oasis. Dal-Tile’s popular Rittenhouse Square was used for the walls and shower surround. Marble chair and pencil rails, Liners and Shellscapes accents completed the look. The entire renovation was featured in the February issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine.
