The new Ebony Angelim High-Sheen flooring by IndusParquet is turning heads.
Designer Madeline Stuart recently selected the black IndusParquet flooring profile for this year’s 84th annual Academy Awards Architectural Digest Greenroom. Stuart designed a space inspired by the debonair art director and production designer Cedric Gibbons, a Hollywood legend.
“His work defines Hollywood glamour,” says Stuart about Gibbons. “My design for the Architectural Digest Greenroom pays homage to his four decades of film designs. My goal was to design a space where contemporary stars wouldn't be surprised to bump into Cary Grant or Katharine Hepburn.”
Crafted from 100 percent solid exotic hardwood, the Ebony Angelim High-Sheen exotic profile adds a touch of glamour to any space. Now available in fine flooring showrooms across the country, the flooring is available in both a smooth and hand-scraped finish. For maximum grain beauty and depth of color, it is offered at 5 ½” wide with random plank lengths of 11 to 88 inches to give the flooring a custom look.
Ebony Angelim High-Sheen wood flooring features IndusParquet proprietary manufacturing processes including:
- ClearVue, a colorless, crystal clear finish that helps ensure lasting durability and beauty
- Breathe, a proprietary natural wood drying process that addresses the unique characteristics of each wood species by giving the wood required time to dry in a fresh air environment where it can breathe and relax
- INDURO, an advanced, aluminum-oxide formulation where crystals are embedded as part of the nine-coat process delivering unprecedented scratch and abrasion resistance
- LONGLENGTH, a process where hardwood floors are milled in random short, medium and long length planks for prime variety
