Dan Natkin, Director of Hardwood and Laminate at Mannington Mills, was honored recently with a LAMMY Award as “Member of the Year” for 2012.
The Lammy Awards are given by the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) to recognize and reward those companies and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to the laminate flooring industry.
Winners are chosen through a voting process that includes NALFA members in addition to editors of Floor Covering Weekly, Floor Covering News, Floor Covering Installer, Floor Focus and Floor Trends.
“Dan’s expertise and enthusiasm for the laminate category is evident in everything he does - from product development through to marketing and merchandising,” said Russell Grizzle, President and CEO of Mannington Mills. “We are proud to have such a dedicated person on our team, and are proud of his accomplishments with NALFA.”
Dan joined Mannington in 2006, and assumed responsibility for the laminate category in 2010. At that time he was selected to serve as NALFA’s CFO as well as Marketing Committee Chairperson. He commented, “NALFA is a great organization, run by an amazing group of people. The group continues to evolve; while we began primarily as a standards-setting organization, NALFA is now recognized as the premier authority regarding the laminate flooring industry in North America. Everything we accomplish is thanks to a team effort, and I’m proud to be part of it.”
