Shaw Living announces the launch of its umbrella collection, World Market. Celebrating the art of various types of hand-made rug constructions, the versatile collection encompasses both traditional and contemporary patterns.

Colorways range from multi-colored, vivid bright colors to more subtle, muted tones. Constructions vary from heavy handed wool to silks with cut and loop patterns showcasing sophisticated hand-carved detailing.  

“These lines are designed to provide a grand selection of beautiful patterns and impeccable quality at a great value,” said Kim Barta, brand manager for Shaw Living. 

The World Market Umbrella includes the following collections:

Craft - The story of the Craft collection is that of texture. Hand-tufted of 100 percent wool, the thick and nubby pile is offered in three color options.  Craft can be used in casual and contemporary spaces alike.  Sizes available: 5' x 7'8" and 7'10" x 10'6"

Highlands - Highlands is a showcase of floral motifs that range from traditional to casual contemporary. Hand-tufted and hand-carved of polyester and silk, these rugs were developed to stand up to your busy household without sacrificing style. Sizes available: 5' x 7'8" and 7'10" x 10'6"

Indonesia -This collection of ikat patterns is based on a technique that has been around for centuries, yet now offers modern amenities. These rugs are hand-tufted 100 percent wool cut pile and offered in rich color combinations.   Sizes available: 5' x 7'8", 7'10" x 10'6", and 9'6" x 12'6"

Casablanca - Casablanca is for the traditionalist. This collection was inspired by Persian antiquity for an heirloom feel.  A heavy hand, classic pattern, and beautiful color come together for a collection that is truly timeless. Hand tufted wool, cut pile construction.  Sizes available: 2'3" x 8', 5' x 7'8", 7'9" Round, 7'10" x 10'6", and 9'6" x 12'6"
