American Olean is proud to introduce its first manufactured glazed porcelain floor, mosaic and ceramic wall combination featuring Reveal Imaging technology on all formats. Designed to bring durability and aesthetic variety to residential or commercial projects, Bordeaux glazed porcelain floor, mosaic and ceramic wall tile products are the latest extensions in quality and design from American Olean.
“Team members from divisions throughout American Olean worked together to design a product for our customers’ specific needs,” said Lori Kirk-Rolley, Senior Marketing Director for Dal-Tile Corporation. “This collaboration resulted in a beautiful, versatile, product that offers multiple sizes to create different patterns that meet the needs of our customers.”
Available in a rich color palette of Crème, Chameau and Marron, Bordeaux provides a natural travertine look and softly chiseled edges for a stylish finish. The tiles combine for a distinctive, decorative visual that can bring flair to any home. Reveal Imaging technology was used to create Bordeaux giving it sophisticated state-of-the-art imaging with unmatched color definition while delivering the performance and durability of a porcelain tile.
Bordeaux offers a variety of format options and sizes to produce unique patterns such as the modular pinwheel, among many others. The collection features four modular floor tile sizes (20 x 20, 13 x 20, 13 x 13 and 6-1/2 x 6-1/2), as well as a 10 x 14 and 4 x 8 ceramic wall tile. For additional flexibility in design, the collection offers a universal decorative 2 x 10 wall accent and universal 3 x 13 floor accent. A 3 x 3 pressed and dot mount mosaic is also available in each of the three colors and meets a .60 wet coefficient of friction (COF) and a .42 dynamic coefficient of friction for commercial applications.
Combined with the state-of-the-art Reveal Imaging, the ceramic wall and porcelain floor and mosaic also feature Microban technology to fight against stain- and odor-causing bacteria. When proper installation methods are followed, Bordeaux is ideal for residential and most commercial applications except pool decks and commercial exterior floors/patios.
