BH Properties, LLC, a Los Angeles-based commercial real estate investment firm, has leased its 89,282-square-foot building in North Richland Hills, Texas to Floor & Decor, a specialty retailer in the hard surface flooring market.

“We are thrilled with the explosive growth we have experienced in Texas,” says Bryant Scott, president of Floor & Decor. “We build each store based on the individual needs of the communities we serve, and Texans have really embraced that model. We are excited to be a part of the North Richland Hills community.”

The 10-year lease was brokered by Greg McDonald of the Weitzman Group for BH Properties. Daniel Taylor and Jeff Kittleson of CBRE represented Floor & Decor. The shopping center sits on 6.7 acres located along the 820 Loop. Neighboring retailers include Wal-Mart Supercenter, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Pep Boys, 24 Hour Fitness and Staples.

Floor & Decor Outlets, which operates 33 flooring centers across the country, anticipates opening this location in the first half of 2013.
