In the most recent issue of the Long Island Floor Covering Association's (LIFCA) newsletter, Christopher Capobianco, executive director, announced that he is stepping down after more than seven years with the organization, effective July 1. Capobianco will still be active in the organization, but has passed administrative duties to Joan Liguori. In addition, the Patchogue office of LIFCA is now closed.

"It's been an honor to serve this great organization and I hope my work has done some good," wrote Capobianco, who recently took on a new role with the sales agency and commercial flooring products distributor Spartan Surfaces.
