CCA Global Partners helped raise $145,000 for the Floor Covering Industry Foundation during its sixth annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament recently in Stone Mountain, Ga. The FCIF is aimed at helping people in the flooring business who have suffered an extreme and life-altering hardship. To date, the CCA tournament has raised nearly $750,000 for the organization.

Howard Brodsky, chairman and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners, said he was pleased by the industry's support, especially in the wake of an economic slowdown. “In the economic climate we face today, it is more important than ever to support organizations like the FCIF that assist those who have fallen on hard times,” he said. “We are proud to be able to once again host this tournament and are thankful for the support of our industry friends and colleagues.”

More than 150 industry professionals attended the tournament for a day of golf and camaraderie. The event, which was renamed last year in honor of the late Alan Greenberg, co-founder of CCA Global Partners, was capped off by a special dinner and awards reception.

The tournament was started in 2003 by both Brodsky and Greenberg.
