Flooring store sees signs of recovery
SHOW LOW - Six months ago, the owner of one of Show Low’s major
carpet and tile outlets was worried about business; not so much now.
Burt Bradford is the owner of Western Carpet and Tile, said business was slow until about a month and a half ago, when Bradford said, things started to improve and have kept pace since.
Burt and his wife, Rose, own the business.
Burt said he and Rose used to have four employees in the warehouse, but for the last year the two of them have been doing all of the warehouse work themselves while also keeping the business running and trying to have what little family life they can eek out of their days.
