The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) recently announced that Flooring Answers in Patchogue, Long Island, NY has qualified by education and examination as an approved IICRC School in the categories of Introduction to Substrate/Subfloor Inspection (ISSI) and Resilient Floor Inspector (RFI).
Christopher Capobianco, founder of Flooring Answers, is also an approved instructor for these two categories and has sacrificed many hours and a great deal of time and study to reach this level of accreditation in addition to having dedicated countless hours of his time as a volunteer to further IICRC educational programs, the IICRC stated.

The IICRC Inspector Certification categories include Carpet, Resilient, Tile, Stone, Wood and Laminate floors. The training and certification programs educate professional inspectors so they can provide independent third party inspections to consumers, building owners, attorneys and floor covering manufacturers. In cases when a floor covering installation or product fails, this type of unbiased analysis of the cause of the problem is invaluable to the owner as a means of coming to just resolution of a complaint, the IICRC said.
The IICRC is a nonprofit certifying and standard-setting organization dedicated to raising industry standards through technical proficiency. By administering a strict process of certification, the IICRC provides a means by which consumers can receive the highest quality of service from trained, knowledgeable, professional technicians and inspectors.
