Shaw Industries, parent company of Anderson, said that Anderson will be joining the Shaw regional winter market events in lieu of displaying new products during Surfaces 2011. Shaw launched the regional winter events six years ago, displaying new products and marketed programs to thousands of retailers and distributors in key markets throughout the nation.

“Shaw and Anderson are continuously working to provide our customers with the very best in design, quality and service--and a primary component of service is convenience,” said Shaw President Randy Merritt. “Anderson will independently present the company’s latest innovations within the successful Shaw regional event model. The unity of the offerings underneath the Shaw umbrella will create a more efficient purchasing experience for the Shaw and Anderson customer.”

Don Finkell, Anderson president, said he is excited about the integration into Shaw's regional events. “After much deliberation, we have concluded that the regional format allows Anderson, and its distributor partners, the best opportunity to review new products and programs with retailers in an intimate, one-on-one setting that is not possible in a single national show.”

The schedule for the Shaw and Anderson 2011 regional marketing events will be announced in fall 2010.
