For the fifth year in a row, Mannington Mills earned the most awards in theNational Floor Trends2010 Styling Excellence Awards. Mannington garnered four top honors -- in Carpet, Commercial (for Elemental Spectrum); Merchandising (for the UltraFlex display system); Resilient Floors (for Sobella Omni HD) and Rubber Floors (for Audio Spectra).

Other first-place winners included Anderson Hardwood Floors, Beaulieu Group LLC, Shaw Living, Dal-Tile, Wilsonart Flooring and Armstrong. Entries were voted on by show goers at Surfaces and readers online.

“We don’t take these awards lightly,” said Joe Amato, Mannington’s vp styling. “There is a lot of work that goes into these products, not just from a styling standpoint, but from the standpoint of manufacturing, technology and marketing as well. It’s an honor to win these awards – once you start winning them you have to start work on something that’s even better for next year.”

Patricia Flavin, Beaulieu of America’s sr. vp marketing, said her company was proud to win the Carpet, Residential category for the third year in a row, for the company’s exclusive Bliss Stainmaster with Magic Fresh collection. “We are extremely proud of winning this award. This confirms what we heard over and over from dealers – that Stainmaster with Magic Fresh is a natural for them to carry because they know their customers will love it.”

Tammy Weadock, Wilsonart Flooring’s marketing communications manager, was also thankful for the award her company received. “Wilsonart Flooring is honored to receive this esteemed award for our High Pressure Laminate Angola Blackwood in the new Exotic series,” she noted. “We sincerely thank the overwhelming response from readers to the design, in addition to those show goers who supported the Wilsonart brand.”
