Trade show and property management group MMPI will launch Buildex Chicago at The Merchandise Mart, June 14-16, 2010. Buildex Chicago, which will be held concurrently with the annual NeoCon World's Trade Fair, is set to feature the latest products and a range of seminars designed to assist those involved in the building and property management industry with strategic solutions and strategies to help manage and operate buildings more efficiently and effectively.
Thousands of building owners, developers, facility managers, property managers, building engineers and others will take part in the exhibition, according to organizers. Additionally, more than 150 exhibitors are set to attend. Eighty seminars will cover topics including how to enhance asset value, optimize building performance, operate greener and more energy efficiently, and stay on top of the latest legal and regulatory issues. Buildex Chicago will also feature a lighting pavilion which will showcase vendors specializing in energy efficient lighting products and lighting retrofits.
“MMPI recognizes these are challenging economic times, and that property owners, managers and operators are looking for solutions to run their buildings more efficiently and economically,” said Mark Falanga, sr. vp of MMPI. “Buildex Chicago will offer the products, services and technologies that will help upgrade and improve the operation of all types of properties.”
Supporting organizations of Buildex Chicago include the Building Owners and Managers Association Chicago, United States Green Building Council Chicago, International Facility Management Association, Chicago Department of Buildings, and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
MMPI currently produces Buildex through its Canadian division.
